Plushound started with a simple observation: big dogs and old dogs have the same problems. Hard floors. Joints that ache getting up in the morning. Furniture they can't quite reach anymore. Crates and car seats built for something half their size. Most pet stores treat "senior" and "large breed" as an afterthought — a corner shelf, not a category.

We built Plushound around that one customer instead: the dog who needs a little more support, and the owner who wants gear that actually says what it does.

How we source

Plushound partners with an authorized fulfillment distributor to bring you genuinely useful comfort and mobility products — orthopedic beds, stairs and ramps, crates, and everyday care essentials — without carrying the overhead (and markup) of holding our own warehouse. That partnership is what lets us offer free shipping on every order.

Every product we list, we've checked ourselves: real material specs, honest weight capacities, and product photography that reflects what actually ships. If a product doesn't hold up to that standard, it doesn't make it into the store.
